Dreaming Springtime

Early morning ride,

Dreaming springtime.

Nature’s wild youth blooming,

Fields green with new grass,

Dewdrops like diamonds

And fairy rings.

Woodland nymphs

Stare from behind Judas trees

Hanging like a purple mist

Along the busy streets.

This reminds me of the mystery, and beauty hidden from the average person’s attention as the rush from one building to another pressed by schedules, and deadlines. With earphones in their ears they miss the hidden things out in the open.
